I want to thank my old pal Josh Warren for having me as a guest on his show this week. We talked about a few cases we’ve investigated together as well as one closely connected to Pelley’s activities that I told with some discretion out of respect for relatives still living in the Asheville area.
Joshua did a fantastic editing job on this one. I generally tell my campfire tales in long-winded fashion and he was able to squeeze the best in while keeping them coherent and maintaining what I feel is a meaningful dialogue.
I hope these true research stories help make my growing case that this is one weird town and there is no end in sight where future research is concerned. Ah, the many tendrils and tangents… mole hills and rabbit holes! The mountain of unfinished work is actually quite comforting to me. It spells original content when we finally see a return to creative form versus the imitative garbage which passes for entertainment these days.
On the eve of Chief Pelley’s 132nd birthday… the opening of his 133rd year… I think this might make for suitable listening. Small items going out in the mail for a select few of you tomorrow, if the roads to the post office aren’t snowed over and frozen.
