It’s been a while since I posted images of columns directly from one of WDP’s publications, but they seem to display nicely in an email and read easily this way.
Here is one I ran across while scanning issues of Over Here this week. It is written by Marilyn Allen in praise of Pelley. Marilyn was one of the more notable female figures on the far-right in the mid-20th century. I believe I own several items from her library with her signature. I’ll keep an eye out for them.
For now, here is her editorial celebrating Mr. Pelley as a hold-out against subversive forces in America. She wasn’t the only one who felt this way.
She didn’t hold back, did she? Good for her! It seems the more things change, the more they stay the same.
I can see why you’re fascinated by Pelley; very interesting fellow. And the illustrations are fantastic—I especially love the UFO vignette in the initial cap.
