R.I.P. Ray Nelson, author and fan

There’s a misfire in my last email. Ray died peacefully in his sleep last night, Nov 29th, 2022 aged 91. He was a co-author and lifelong friend of P.K. Dick. Ray was a sci-fi fan from the time he could read and got his start illustrating amateur fan ‘zines in the 1940s. He is a minor literary figure and I would be surprised if his passing is noted in the mainstream media but his influence on conspiratorial pop culture through ‘They Live’ cannot be overstated. He was also a gracious correspondent of his fans. Thanks, Ray!
