Subject: [pelleyclub] Melford Pearson on the Golden Scripts, 2012
The recipient of this email, written last December, has kindly offered to share it with the group...
Good morning Melford and Merry Christmas
I hope all is going well for you in Noblesville
As you know Tom and I have had the Golden Scripts since 1984
Since then Tom has accumulated volumes of Pelley material . We have, just this past year, been able to find the time (do to Tom's semi-retirement) to study and understand the Soulcraft Doctrine
and we are Soulcraft Students for sure.
We enjoy Adelaide's Forwards and Mr. Pelley's commentaries, and of course our greatest interest is the meat of the Doctrine given by the "Elder Brother" himself and the Mentor Transcripts.
Since you were someone whom had the privilege of spending so much time with Mr. Pelley, I have some questions for you, if you would be so inclined to answer them, it would be greatly appreciated.
How did Mr. Pelley find the time to receive and record all of the transcrpts , put them in put them in volumes for students like us to study, write books and make a living at the same time? (I do understand that you played and integral role in helping him as you said after the normal 8 hour shift at the plant, you went to work publishing the Soulcraft material, and Mel, I thank you deeply for that.)
We understand that Mr. Pelley transcribed 400 Golden Scripts, but only published 257 of these scripts. Will I be receiving from you the full 400 scripts?
Have you and Adeline read the Mentor and The Golden Scripts Transcripts in their entirety or did Mr. Pelley feel that some were for himself and none other? If so, what will become of them and will students like Tom and I ever have the privilege of studying them?
Also Mel, when my husband and his friend acquired the Golden Scripts in 1984 in an old Hotel in Glasgow Montana in the middle of a freezing winter, they were two fledgling Scientists, striving to complete the Theory of Relativity. They read the first page of the Golden Scrpts and thought the book was written specifically for them! It rocked their world to the point that they did a complete 360 and delved into Theology and Spirituality. (They did finish their Theorum, though, and it fits in with the Elder Brother's teachings on ether, energy and matter.) Since becoming Soulcraft students, we have learned that all of the material was meant specifically for Mr. Pelley himself. My most important question to you Mel, is "When you read the Golden Scripts and you feel each passage is directed to you specifically, is that the way you should interpret it? Some passages speak specifically about time like when he says "Thrice and forty days shall ye know
defilements;thrice forty days shall evil encompass you" Are passages like that directed to Mr. Pelley himself? I may be confused as to what is directed to Pelley and what is for us all.Maybe Mr. Pelley disclosed these informations to you?
Please excuse the length of this letter, and if you feel my questions are to personal , I understand. You may forward it to your children if you feel they may have an interest in these matters with me as I do not want to overstep by boundaries with you and your family
Peace

Hi T.,
I am jolted in realizing that I haven't replied to your interesting letter before now. The month has been somewhat hectic but that is not sufficient excuse. Anyway, accept my apology for the delay.
Yes, you both are Soulcraft Students for sure! Ones who have serious questions about Mr. Pelley or the Doctrine, like yourselves, certainly qualify.
First, it is most astonishing that he found time to do all that he did. There were many times that when he was in the middle of a page in a book he was writing he would get up from the typewriter and spend several hours with the visitor who had arrived without an appointment. He had this desire to accommodate each and everyone who wanted to meet him and avail themselves of his special wisdom. Adelaide often remarked that her Dad hadn't learned to just play once in a while.
His mind was just like a computer. Not only creating but loading everything into accessible files. Whether the Scripts or articles in the several magazines we were publishing, he did just a minimum of re-writing because he saw the article fully in his mind as he commenced writing. In order to have material ready each morning he and I would spend five or six hour working after all help had gone home. It was quite an experience, he typing on his typewriter and my taking his copy and setting the words on the linotype. It was in a real spirit of camaraderie. And I should note at this point that when he was released from prison I was his main chef on trips to Washington, NewYork or elsewhere. I brag when I tell you that he would say to me, "Mel, I like to travel with you more than any other person, because I don't feel the need to talk. We communicate mentally, and spiritually, and talk when we feel that it is natural and important to do so."
I don't know that you have the count of the Golden Scripts correct but I do know that he set aside a certain number that we were not to publish. Adelaide read them all and concluded, apparently the same as her Dad, that they were explicit in personal counseling. At this time, they will not be available to the public even in the foreseeable future.
Your question as to whom is the Elder Brother speaking is a tough question. Adelaide and I felt that when we had a tough personal question we would be guided to open the book to a particular chapter and surprisingly get a meaningful insight. Every night I take Scripts in hand and run my finger along the edges and get a feel as to what I should read. Adelaide and I alone printed a number of printings just by ourselves. Not only did Adelaide proof read the original printing but read every sheet off the press, that I was running, to be sure that linotype lines were correct
For what it is worth, Adelaide and I both feel that the Scripts are meant for each reader's benefit. It is there sense of help received that is paramount! As to the reference of time spans we never were able to pin them down.
I hope that I have been of some help in responding to your questions.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Mel

Thanks for sharing Vance,
I too feel as if the Golden Scripts are directed to me personally, and met many others who felt likewise.
That is a testament to the style of writing.
I've often called The Golden Scripts The Apostle's Handbook, for it is like personal instruction to those who will go and carry the message to the population.
I've just finished another editing of my Standard English rendition, and am starting over again. Each time I find improvements, but am getting close to the end. I have avoided sending certain passages in the past because they are of the category "Are You The One?", and didn't want to come across as saying I'm the One, for many many of us are Apostles. So now that you've broken the Ice, I'll begin sharing these personal adjurations so you can appreciate the personal contact in the assigned missions.
Have a great week,
- - Steve
